Clearmark Tackle Tough Team Building Treasure Hunt as Part of Annual Summer Fun Day
1st August, 2018
Over 30 members of the Clearmark ICE team recently travelled to the city of Oxford to complete a set of top-secret challenges and activities as part of the company’s annual summer fun day event.
Split into teams of six, each group was given a GPS tracked smartphone and a backpack full of clues and currency before setting out on their journey through the culturally rich streets of Oxford, famous for one of the world’s top universities, the Bodleian Library and the Radcliffe Camera, to solve riddles and challenges sent to the groups by the elusive riddle-master the “All-Seeing-ICE”.
After four hours of walking, rowing and lots of head-scratching, each team was instructed to assemble at the Lamb and Flag pub, before returning to the De Vere Hotel for dinner and evening entertainment.
As with previous years, the summer fun day was kindly organised by the company directors to recognise successful sales results in the first half of the year and double East Midlands Chamber award nominations. It also provided a fantastic opportunity for new recruits and current staff to work together as a team with people from across the business.
