More than 40 members of the Clearmark team recently travelled to Symonds Yat in Wales to complete a nine-mile team building boat trip as part of the company’s popular summer fun day celebrations.

In teams of two, each canoe required a “captain” to steer from the back of the boat and a “rower” at the front to pull the boat through the rocky waters and rapids in order to make it across the finish line.

After five hours of intensive rowing, the team headed back to base for a well-deserved meal at the Symonds Yat Rock Lodge.

The summer fun day, kindly organised by the company directors after another successful quarter, provided Clearmark staff and new recruits with a great opportunity to work together as a team and to socialise with both internal and field-based colleagues across the business.
